Welcome to the Waldport Beachcomber Days 2011 and Centennial Web Site. This year marks the 55th Anniversary Celebration of Beachcomber Days and the Waldport Centennial, a three day event, June 17, 18, and 19. This year’s celebration offers more events and many opportunities for young and old alike.

The first Beachcomber Days was held in 1956 and over the years we have lost track of participants, who they are and what they are doing, and your memories of Waldport and Beachcomber Days. So we have constructed a WordPress adaptation, which makes use of social media. We urge you to “register” on the site. There is a link (to the left in “meta”) where you can do this. Once you have registered, you are able to post comments. We want you to explore the site. If you were part of the 1957 Beachcomber Days Court, we’d like you to post a comment–tell us who you are in the picture and a little about your life today. Add your voice to the 55th Annual Beachcomber Days and Centennial Celebration!
